Kristina Annamukhamedova biography

Biography

Award-winning Lithuanian pianist Kristina Annamukhamedova performs as a solo and chamber musician across Europe and the United States.

She is a prizewinner of numerous competitions, notably the International F. Chopin Competition in Budapest and Vilnius and the International “Virtuoso Per Musica Di Piano Forte” Competition in the Czech Republic. Kristina has appeared as soloist with the Lithuanian National Chamber Orchestra, the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra, and St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra and collaborates as a chamber artist with members of the New York City Ballet and the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra.

She earned the Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in performance and pedagogy from the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki, and is currently pursuing Artist Diploma studies at the Colburn School under the tutelage of Professor Fabio Bidini.

This is Kristina’s first album release. The opportunity was a gift from the M. Rostropovich Charity and Support Fund. The CD was recorded in Vilnius, Lithuania in Piano LT hall (V. Keras, recording engineer). Contained in this CD are works by J. S. Bach, L. van Beethoven, S. Rachmaninov, and S. Prokofiev.
